Introducing ‘Fantastic Fruit: texture and form’ – my new Craftsy Class!

Today is not only my birthday, but in a happy timing coincidence, the day got even more exciting because – my new Craftsy class launched today!

If you haven’t heard of it, Craftsy.com is a huge website offering online classes on arts, crafts, cooking and gardening.

They’re based in Denver, Co, where we went to film my second class with them last month.

The team at Craftsy are so professional, and once I was over the hideous jetlag/altitude combo, I really enjoyed getting this class filmed!

In it, I explain and demonstrate just how important both texture and form are when you’re looking to create realistic watercolours.

Once you grasp this, it can actually be applied to any subject!

Then I give 2 really thorough step-by-step demos – one of a shiny strawberry:

Strawb600

And one of a furry peach:

    Hi Anna,
I just enrolled for the new class. Can’t wait to start! Just had a question about the discount for members…the craftsy site has given me a 25% discount….was that supposed to be 50% for members? I paid $37.97AUD. Thanks.

Hi Judith – did you click through from the link on the page in the School site – under the “Resources’ tab? That’s the only way to make sure you get the 50% discount – I’m sorry if that wasn’t clear. You may be able to reach out to Craftsy about it. Hope you enjoy the class.!

I am signed up for this class however, it does not appear that we can upload a photo of our work for a critique. Also, questions do not seem to be answered. I am not sure if there is a problem with the site.
